What is the Fund?

The IIDA RMC Education Fund is a new scholarship opportunity created to financially assist local BIPOC students enrolling in a higher education program related to the built environment.

A committee, composed of the organizations participating in Elevate, shall undertake the responsibility of evaluating scholarship applicants to ascertain both the number of awards to be granted and the final amounts to be awarded. (Formal scholarship requirements and application parameters are currently under development.)

Scholarships will be disbursed in the calendar year subsequent to Elevate. The chosen scholarship recipient(s) will receive an exclusive invitation to the upcoming Elevate event as a distinguished guest, enabling them to share their personal journey and elucidate the profound impact that the scholarship has made in their lives.
